Submit your wedding stories, pictures, films and styled shoots
Our aim at The Wed Post is to empower couples around the world with the inspiration and wedding professionals to create a celebration worthy of their love. Our goal through the featured stories is to connect couples with ideas for planning their unique wedding, as well as the talented and creative vendors who can turn their vision into a reality. We strive hard to represent all cultures, religions, and styles in our featured stories. Members of our vendor directory do receive priority when it comes to stories submissions. If you're interested in marketing your services to couples visiting our website, please write to us at
What can you submit?
Our primary focus is to showcase couple’s stories along with wedding planning ideas. That being said, we also accept styled shoots by brands. We currently do not accept engagement shoots.
How many photos should you submit?
Wedding stories: 100-150 pictures
Styled Shoot : 75-100 pictures
What specs should the photos be?
All images must be .jpgs, below 2 MB, with no watermarks. Please send only single images. We will not accept collages.
I want to send this submission to another blog/publication. Can I do that?
We ask that you give us exclusive rights to your content for at least 60 days. We hope that you understand and respect our request as we feel very strongly about bringing our readers original content.
I want to post this submission to my own blog. Can I do that?
We encourage all wedding vendors to share their work on their blogs! This is a great way for couples to fall in love with what you do. Posting images from the submission to your vendor blog does not hurt your chances of publication, nor does it violate our exclusivity policy (see above).
How long should you expect to wait before hearing back about my submission?
A team member from The Wed Post will get back to you within 15 business days if your submission will fit into our editorial schedule at this time.
What we look for in a submission:
The first thing we look for when considering a wedding is offbeat and distinctive personal style. We love seeing weddings that really show off the personalities of the couple, unique ideas and details that our readers can get excited about and find inspiration in. We also love a great story or connection to the couple and their wedding experience. Finally, solid, artistic, and consistently-processed photography is an absolute must.
A few tips for what makes a great submission:
  • Plenty of portrait-oriented images of both the couple and the details
  • A fashion-forward couple whose style is evident throughout their wedding decor
  • Dedicated images showcasing the details of the day
  • Properly lit and consistently processed photos that are in focus and meet the quality standard of other images on our site
